How You Can Help

There are many ways you can help both the BBKA in it's campaigning activities and the honey bee. We are always in need of assistance at every level throughout the organisation.

You may have a skill set in your professional working life, accountant, lawyer, etc that would perhaps aid us in the boardroom or by becoming actively involved nationally or locally.....

OR

Perhaps you wish to get involved in our activities through making a donation to aid us in our research.

You may prefer to support the honey bee through our Adopt a Beehive scheme. It's the UK's only fund raising scheme to help the honey bee, and makes a great gift for you or a loved one, while also helping the honey bee. When you Adopt a Beehive for one year you will receive a quarterly newsletter describing the life of your bees and their beekeeper, plus a jar of honey and a packet of seeds which will feed honey bees and other insects too. You can read more about the BBKA's scheme at the Adopt a Beehive website. All profits from this scheme go towards applied research and education projects to support the honey bee.

Everybody can help protect bees by following the advice in our brochure Honey Bees and Pesticides
