Magners Cider

William Magner first began making cider in 1935 and it is still produced today using the traditional craft and care that has been employed for over 75 years. MagnersŪ is made in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, Ireland from a blend of 17 varieties of apples. It is patiently VAT matured among the orchards of Clonmel for up to 18 months and undergoes a two stage fermentation process.
What’s more, Magners® understands just how important bees are. After all it’s the bees that pollinate the apples in the Magners® orchards which are blended and crafted to make Magners® Original cider - so without the bees there simply wouldn’t be any Magners.
That’s why Magners® has teamed up with the BBKA and Federation of Irish Beekeepers (FIBKA) to launch ‘Magners® Bee Aid,’ a campaign to help save 1.5 million urban bees in the UK and Ireland.
We’ve made it as easy as possible to get involved and help make a difference – from downloading a free Magners® iPhone or Android Bee Beard phone app (Terms and Conditions apply), to entering the competition to win one of the Magners® Beekeeping Scholarships on facebook or simply liking the Bee-Aid campaign on Facebook.
