BBKA Spring Convention 2011

BBKA Spring Convention 2011

Bees Abroad will be out in force for the British Beekeepers' Association Spring Convention, near Kenilworth, between 15-17 April 2011.  On Saturday 16th April we will have a stand in the trade show, featuring Bees Abroad supporters Sally Fletcher-Pemberton, Mary Home, Chris Panaro, Kenneth Durk, Jo Hiscox and Jeff Bee.  Come and find us in the International Hall, opposite the tea and coffee bar on the Mezzanine floor.

In addition, three Bees Abroad supporters are giving lectures during the convention.  Trustee Bisi Adekunle is talking about "Slow Beekeeping" on both Friday 15th  and Saturday 16th.  Project Manager Pam Gregory is talking about "Beekeeping for poverty alleviation" (Friday) and is also giving a presentation entitled "Happy Bees are Healthy Bees" on Saturday.

And finally, our chairman, John Home, has slot at 4:30pm at Speakers Corner in the Royal Pavilion on Saturday 16th April to promote Bees Abroad.  He will  be talking about the a-maizing bee-suit.

We hope to see all our existing supporters, and make lots of new friends at this major event in the British beekeeping calendar.
