Sinyati Beesuits

The training we conducted on making the Bees Abroad amaizing protective clothing has started bearing fruits.  Sinyati Women's group is now making them for sale to the men beekeepers.  Many beekeepers are now ordering them from the group and actually one of the ladies in the group is taking a course in tailoring in Marigati Village polytechnic and she finishes the course in August this year.

The bee suit are sold cheaply at  500 Kenyan shilling (about USD 6.00) and many beekeepers can afford it.  You can compare the price - a normal bee suit is currently KSh 3500 - 4000, which is out of reach of many poor farmers.  The news has now spread far and wide about the Bees Abroad a-maizing bee suits and we expect many orders which will give some income to the group.  I am encouraging other groups to follow that example.
