Renewed funding for our Uganda project
2010 has started well for our Ugandan EMESCO project. In January the States of Guernsey decided they would continue their financial support for a further twelve months after the present phase ends in May. Bees Abroad’s Roy Dyche, who is overseeing our work in Uganda, was delighted: “This is tremendous news! We needed another year to prepare the villagers themselves to take the project over. Now we’ve got it. Guernsey’s Christmas present may have been delayed in the post but it’s no less welcome for that!”
