Project managers working in Sudan and Uganda

Roy and Pam
Project managers Roy and Pam at a recent Bees Abroad meeting in the UK

Two Bees Abroad project managers are  travelling in March/April 2011 to work on development projects in two different parts of Africa.

Pam Gregory is first up, going to Sudan to help to introduce beekeeping to a village women's group on the banks of the Nile. The group are hoping to produce honey for a local clinic.

Roy Dyche will be travelling to Uganda in April to continue work with beekeepers near Lake Albert, in a project which has benefited from funding by the State of Guernsey and the support of EMESCO.

We wish them well on their travels, and look forward to providing more detailed updates when they have returned.
