Equipment required (to start Bee Keeping)
You will require very little specialist equipment to start with. Your first
thoughts should be to join a Beekeeping course with your local BBKA Association
who will advise on Safety Equipment, Hives, Tools and your first colony of Bees. Details
of starter kits are available from our Trade Supporters and may
be accessed through the Links section of this site. Many books
on Beekeeping are available and some may be obtained from the BBKA publications
department.
