Harlow Beekeeping Division Introduction to Beekeeping Course 2012

Harlow Beekeeping Division is holding an ‘Introduction to Beekeeping Course’, for those who would like information about the Honey Bee & What is required to be a Beekeeper. Cost £40.

The course will consist of:

5 Theory Sessions to be held on Tuesdays 28th February & 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th March 2012

At Kings Church, Red Willow, Harlow, Essex CM19 5PA (see map below) From 8.00 pm to 10.00 pm.

2 Apiary Sessions on Sundays 22nd & 29th April, with reserve dates of 6th & 13th May 2012.

Held at 2 Harlow Beekeeper Members Apiaries From 11.00am to 1pm.

However due to the law & legislation relating to ‘Health & Safety’ only applicants who are members of the British Beekeepers Association will be able to attend the apiary sessions due to the insurance required.

All applicants will be invited to join Harlow Division to go on to the apiary sessions, if they are not already a member of the British Beekeepers Association.

2012 membership prices have not yet been released but are currently £30 for single membership & £48 for dual membership; this affiliates members to The British Beekeeping Association, Essex Beekeeping Association as well as the Harlow Division and includes both Personal Insurance & Bee Disease Insurance.
