Iceni Microscopy Course 2012

Basic Course in Optical Microscopy.

The course is designed to cover basic theory of microscopy and effective use and setting-up of various types of microscope, together with applications in beekeeping. Follow-up sessions to further extend the knowledge and understanding of microscopy, could be arranged for those wishing to participate, at an additional cost, depending on number of applicants and sessions.

Teaching will be led by Lewis Woolnough, a qualified Microscopist and Lecturer, a member of the Quekett Microscopy Club, one of the leading Microscopy organisations for both Professional and Amateur Microscopists

The dates are Sat & Sun 24th and 25th March and Sat 31st March & Sun 1st April 2012


Venue: on the Norfolk Suffolk Border at Esmerelda’s, Grange Farm Centre, Hall Lane, Barsham, Beccles, NR34 8JT

The Cost will be £140 for the course, plus minimal  charges for the cost of equipment for personal use, e.g. dissecting tools
