Queen Marking

The internationally agreed code for queenmarking is:-

GREY or WHITE for any year ending in 1 or 6

YELLOW for any year ending in 2 or 7

RED for any year ending in 3 or 8

GREEN for any year ending in 4 or 9

BLUE for any year ending in 5 or 0

The colour for 2010 therefore is BLUE

Meetings

Newcastle Beekeeping Association meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each calender month.

Our meetings are informal and friendly and consist of lectures, demonstrations, local information and sharing knowledge with other beekeepers in your local area.

Non members are welcome to attend up to 3 meetings for free before deciding whether to become a paid up member.

Evening Meetings

Location: Lecture Theatre, John Marley Centre, Muscott Grove, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE15 6TT.
