Honey Show
I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who helped to make this year's Honey Show one of the best I've been involved with. To all those who helped 'behind the scenes' and to each of the 24 entrants, a record number for recent years, for taking the trouble to prepare the 82 entries: from their hive products, display their photographs or bake a honey related item; and most of all to our Honey Judge, Martin Buckle, who made the whole evening so entertaining and managed to pick out the winners for us.
The audience must have been a record too and I hope they were duly impressed with everyone's efforts and learned some tips from Martin for next year. Well done to everyone.
Unfortunately, we ran out of time to produce the final results and present the Cups, so the intention is to do this at next month's meeting after the AGM business has been completed.
