South Gloucestershire Beekeepers support the excellent work carried out by the Bees Abroad Charity. Bees Abroad provide practical help in educating third world beekeepers in sustainable beekeeping.

Bees Abroad believes that where people have learned beekeeping skills, they are able to make their hives from affordable local materials. This can help them to improve their income and their environment. They will buy materials to make hives and equipment and will value them more for having done this.
