Beginners' courses
If after this taster day you would like to find out more, we are offering beginners a five week course (details here) starting in February. After that you can come to the Branch Apiary each week and learn how to keep bees. You will then be in a good position to get your own bees the following season.
The cost of the year's training programme is £75 for Social Members or a discounted £55 for Full Members. (see Membership for details)

Exam Study Group
When you have kept bees for a year, you are eligable to take the BBKA Basic Examination. We are organising a study group for those who would like to take the exam in May 2012. See Winter Programme for dates. Even if you don't want to take the exam, you may like to join the study group.
