Beginners' courses
If after this taster day you would like to find out more, we are offering beginners a five week course (details here) starting in February. After that you can come to the Branch Apiary each week and learn how to keep bees. You will then be in a good position to get your own bees the following season.
The cost of the year's training programme is £75 for Social Members or a discounted £55 for Full Members. (see Membership for details)

Exam Study Group
When you have kept bees for a year, you are eligable to take the BBKA Basic Examination. Last winter we organised a study group for those taking the exam in May.  Even if you don't want to take the exam next year, you may like to join the study group next winter.
