Annual Convention

A one day Beekeeping Convention is held annually at the beginning of the year. It is intended to suit all abilities and as well as the main lectures there is a choice of seminars to attend.

The 2012 event will be held on Saturday 25^th February at Lodge Hill Centre, Watersfield, Pulborough, RH20 1LZ from 09:30 - 16:30.

Dr Ivor Davis, former President of the BBKA - Winter Preparation Begins Now
Dr Margaret Couvillon, Postdoctoral Researcher, Laboratory of Apiculture and Social Insects at Sussex University - Mechanisms of Guarding and Nestmate Recognition in Bees .
