About the BBKA
The BBKA works to promote bees and beekeeping and to provide a range of member services to UK beekeepers.
Most of our members 'belong' to the BBKA indirectly. Primarily, they belong to local associations, based mainly on English counties.
We now have 66 member associations. This year the combined membership has risen to over 20,000 through the hard work of these associations. This shows a higher public profile of beekeeping, changes in EU farming support and major public concern for the environment.
