Beginners Course - Cornwall
Ten week beginners course starting 7 January 2013
10 week course for beginners at Duchy College, Stoke Climsland, Near Callington, Cornwall between 7 January and 18 March 2013.
The course is supported by the CBKA (Cornwall Beekeepers Association).
This course covers the basic elements of beekeeping including: the honeybee colony; hives and various equipment; management through the beekeeping year; swarming; health of the colony; honey production and preparation for sale; and general good husbandry.
A general understanding of the above topics will give you the confidence and knowledge you need for beginners or those new to beekeeping.
The course is presented by friendly, experienced and helpful tutors over a ten week period at the Duchy College, Stoke Climsland, Near Callington.
From 7pm to 9pm every Monday from 7 January to 18 March 2013 (except 18 February due to half term).
Fee: £85 per person (£150 for two applicants at the same address)
