Devon Beekeepers Spring Convention
The Holsworthy Branch of Devon Beekeepers Association is hosting a Spring Convention on Saturday 25th February 2012.
The venue is Chilsworthy Village Hall near Holsworthy, Devon. The Convention starts at 09:30 and finishes at 16:00.
Join us for the following lectures from:
- Adam Vevers NBI on Pesticides and Neonics found in pollen.
- Dr Michael Keith Lucas will take us further into the role of pollen in forensic science.
- Dr Juliet Osborne from Rothamsted Research Centre;‘Bumblebees and Honey bees’
- Bill Summers beekeeper for 40 years and architect will present his new concept Zest hive
- Dr. Peter Kennedy, Rothamsted Research Centre: researching Food and Health; their effect on bees.
