The Spring Convention is probably Europe’s biggest national beekeeping event, with 27 lectures from international and leading UK speakers and more than 30 workshops and courses during the 3 day event.  There is something for everyone, expert, improver, beginner and non-beekeeper. Go to the Events Listing and Events Schedules for an overview of what’s on offer and to plan your visit.

Tickets  are now on sale through the BBKA On-line Shop

Read about the Lecture Programme  here and the Courses & Workshops here. You need to pre-book most Courses & Workshops using  the Booking forms.

For many delegates, and there were more than 2300 in 2011, it’s not just the lectures but the Trade Show open on Saturday 21 April only, which is also a big attraction. The main UK suppliers and leading overseas companies are represented in the 2500M2 Exhibition Halls.  Exhibitors are listed here.

The new venue offers on-site Accommodation & Catering and as a campus environment, socialising should be good. For prices, details of the accommodation and to book see the Accommodation Booking Form
