British Beekeepers Association
4th August 2012

Taster Day - Lincolnshire

Are you interested in beekeeping? Not sure what's involved and want to find out more? Then why not go along to the Lincolnshire Beekeepers Association is putting on to learn what it's all about. Thornes Apiary, Rand nr Wragby 2.00pm

Come and meet some beekeepers and their bees
Beesuits or bee jackets and disposable gloves will be provided, but please wear long trousers, long-sleeved shirt and, if possible, boots. (The bees won’t be happy if they get stuck going up
your trousers – and neither will you!)
We will tell you something about what is involved in beekeeping, answer your questions, show you some of the equipment and, weather permitting, look into some hives of bees.
If you decide beekeeping is for you we can guide you on where and how to learn more.
Fee: £10 per person
