Winchester Beekeepers Association Beginners Course

Winchester BKA are holding a One Day Beginners Course on 25th February 2012.

The course will take place between 10am and 4pm on Saturday 25th Febuary 2012.

Description:
Suitable for people with no prior experience who are considering keeping bees. This one day course introduces you to the basics of beekeeping, with plenty of opportunity for informal discussion. Experienced beekeepers will outline what is involved with keeping bees, from choosing an apiary site and handling bees through to harvesting your first jar of honey! There will be an opportunity to visit an apiary for a practical session with the beekeepers at a later date.
