Wildflowers13 March 2018

Honeybees are starting to emerge from their hives all over the UK this week as we see a brief respite from wintry storms and they will soon be finding all the new pollinator patches.

WildflowersLast year the British Beekeepers Association, in association with Burt’s Bees, gave away a thousand packets of seeds for pollinators.

That should mean new places for all our honeybees, bumblebees, solitary bees, hoverflies, and moths to find nectar and pollen.

This year, we will be giving away a further 500 FREE packets of wildflower seeds at the BBKA’s Spring Convention at Harper Adams University.

And if you send in a picture of the patch you planted last year you can win £100 to spend at the Trade Show which takes place on Saturday 14th April at the Convention.

And let’s get planting this year too!
