  3. Cut grass less often

  4. Don’t disturb insect nests & hibernation spots

  5. Try and not use pesticides

Isle of Wight Council plans to reduce verge cutting, saving £11,000 a year. This will
allow more wildflowers to bloom, benefitting pollinators, while essential road safety
standards are maintained.
