Help the British Beekeepers’ Association raise essential funds to stop Yellow-Legged Asian Hornets from becoming established in the UK.  Please give generously.

The Yellow-Legged Asian Hornet is a non-native invasive species that preys on a wide range of pollinators.  It is an aggressive predator which poses a significant threat to honey bees and other pollinators in the UK.

The first Yellow-Legged Asian Hornet was discovered in the UK in 2016 but numbers increased rapidly in 2023.  More nests were discovered in the UK in 2023 than in the previous six years combined!

The BBKA needs your help so we can raise awareness and educate the public about the threat of Yellow-Legged Asian Hornets and the importance of reporting all sightings.  We must act now to stop them from becoming established in this country and decimating our pollinators.

The nation’s beekeepers are pulling together in a bid to stop Yellow-Legged Asian Hornets from becoming established in the UK but we also want to raise awareness with the general public as we need their help to report any potential sightings.  We are actively planning a number of campaigns and need your help to raise funds so we can reach as many people as possible.

Any funds you can give will be helping in a very real way
to protect our pollinators!
