BBKA President, Anne Rowberry, has been talking to our Patron Jimmy Doherty about the importance of the bee population for his podcast "On Jimmy's Farm".

It's estimated it would cost farmers £1.8 billion a year to pollinate our crops without them, and around 90% of wild plants and 75% of leading global crops depend on animal pollination. But Anne also shares how bees are a lot more important to our existence than just their economic value.
