You can carry out a flowers and insects survey in your own garden or volunteer to help with surveys of 75  agricultural or semi-natural sites that will help the Centre for Ecology & Hydrology with their conservation work.

The 10 minute Flower-Insect Timed Count can be carried out anywhere and a full survey guide is provided. Details are available at www.ceh.ac.uk/pollinator-monitoring

A smaller group of volunteers is required to help with the systematic surveying of random sites across England, Scotland and Wales. This involved 'adopting' a 1 KM survey square, meeting on site with a PoMS team member and visiting the square on three further occasions during the summer to collect insects with water-filled pan traps.
