At the 2023 ADM a proposition was passed requiring the BBKA to “seek to encourage the development of sustainability in all aspects of beekeeping”.

It has been a challenge to define what sustainability is as it means different things to different people.  The BBKA has, therefore, kept the brief as wide as possible.

An Area Association Discussion Forum was organised to talk about the different aspects of sustainability in beekeeping that might be considered.

·         Treatment
