Wednesday 16th February 2022 at 7.30pm

Prof. Dr. Robert Paxton, Martin-Luther-University; Halle-Wittenberg, will be lecturing on Viruses in Bees. He is a leading world authority on the effect of viruses on Bees.  He will be using some of his own research material and that of his group and giving a valuable insight into both his own and his group’s research results.

Viruses are probably the most serious threat to honey bees worldwide, Prof. Paxton’s research will contribute to understanding the impact they have on bees and other species, and how they may be controlled.

This lecture will be valuable for all beekeepers and those taking modules next month may find it particularly interesting and helpful.
